The color wheel wasn't always a wheel--before its circular design, color charting happened on circles, tables, and spheres. Imprint covers the history of the color wheel in a piece of interest to anyone design minded.

Portuguese: out. Python: in.

No longer the hobby of nerds and Zuckerberg-wannabes, programming has attracted a fresh crop of young and old alike who are skipping foreign language classes to learn the language of the internet. The New York Times recently covered the phenomenon, pointing out that more people recognize the shift to a squarely tech-focused society and don’t want to be left in the dial-up ages.

In fact, the next time you think about poking fun at a computer geek, just take a look at the average salary of a programmer.

I found this awesome new startup fundraising site called IndieGoGo.com. The reason I liked it more than others such as kickstarter.com or invested.in is because it doesn't limit the submissions to projects or products, it keeps it open for campaigns and movements. Check out the campaign I made for DontTellTheHipsters.com and try making your own!

OnStar offers turn-by-turn navigation, roadside assistance, automatic crash response—to name just a few of its seemingly never-ending list of features. And now, for just $0.12 a day, you OnStar will let you track yout spouse!

Yes, forget the days of spending thousands of dollars on private investigators—or you know, the days of actually trusting your spouse. The feature is being pitched to parents who want to keep tabs on their teens, but it could be used to track any operator of the vehicle.

The new service, dubbed Family Link, allows owners of OnStar-equipped vehicles from Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac to track a family member through the OnStar website and receive email and text alerts when the vehicle arrives at a location or at a specific time.

Jesse Hernandez became the 282nd person to be executed in Texas since the year 2000 tonight, and one of that state’s traditions is to publish the last words spoken by those who complete the journey down death row.

This infographic provides statistics on those who have been executed surrounding a representation by size of the words most often spoken by those prisoners.
