All too often, the only sense of wonder that takes place in a children’s hospital is tinged with the kind of worry and stress that tears one apart inside, but not when the Jason Bruges Studio has anything to say about it.
Their project for the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London makes the journey to the anesthesia room a magical experience, where children of all ages and sizes can interact with a forest scene where a variety of animals flit through the LED display as if they were in the woods rather than the wards.
If ever there is a time when parents and kids need a magic touch to make things a bit easier, it’s there.
