This amazing installation in Puri, India was built by Sudarsan Pattnaik and his students at the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute, the school he founded to pass on his knowledge of working with the medium, and the particular piece’s message is a timely one seeing that snow enough to make a decent Santa the old fashioned way is getting scarce; the Jesus figure at the focal point of the piece bears the tiding, “Go green, save Earth.” Full story at My Modern Met.
