There is a place where fashion meets functionality, and then there’s the place where fashion goes to die in favor of functionality; right there is where Pic Nic Pants stand tall and proud.

Meant to be a ready-made place to set your dinner ware should a spontaneous picnicking opportunity arise, we see several issues with this piece of clothing, the first being the issue of resurrecting the 1800s and bringing knickers back in style, the second, looking like one is wearing a massive diaper.

Well, to each his or her own, and we wish the creators of this, well, groundbreaking look the best of luck in their endeavors. If high-waisted pleated short-shorts can come back, anything is possible.

When it comes to videos from OK Go, we’ve come to expect a visual treat, and the music video to their song “Skyscrapers” is no exception.

Directed by Trish Sie, she and partner Moti Buchboot tango their way through every color of the rainbow, and if you’re not convinced by the end that dancing is the best seductive mechanism invented by humankind, watch it again.

Space Ghost Purrp

This next post is bout a rapper/producer outta Miami named SpaceGhostPurrp. He's been around since early last year, most notably getting attention for the mixtape Blackland Radio 66.6. Whats sick about SGP is his outlandish beats that bring back some of that old school dirty dirty South shit like Three 6 Mafia and UGK. After hooking up with A$AP Rocky and Juicy J for beats and verses, he's been blowin up. Most notably producing a track for Wiz's new tape "Taylor Allderdice."

Keep an eye out for SGP as he is primed to be the breakout producer of the year. Below is one of his earlier songs "Friday," which I can't stop bumping lately. It mixes some funk with some heavy drums and makes a for a banger.

Springfield, MO Police Force First to Use Flying Patrol Drones

It was reported today that the police force in Springfield, Missouri will be the first in the country to use flying patrol drones to monitor and stop crime in the city. After gaining infamy by becoming the "Meth Capital of the USA" a couple years ago the crime problem in Springfield has become more and more apparent. Those who get hooked on meth or the popular bath salt substitute "plant food" turn into mindless beings doing anything for their next fix. The addiction in prominent among the homeless community, making petty crimes to get drug money more common. Another factor is those who manufacture and distribute the drug are bringing a sense of danger to the city. Coupled with the party minded Missouri State campus being a few miles away from the worst areas, the police have got their hands full. To deter crime and make sure the city is safe police will start flying miniature helicopter drones throughout downtown. The drones are mounted with cameras and are being operated from the station, so no officer is being exposed to any real harm. The drones will fly high enough to evade destruction making them the perfect tool to look out for crime.
